WE THE PEOPLE OF COLUMBIA COUNTY CODE OF CODUCT

These guidelines have been established to protect the interests, integrity, and reputation of WTP of CC. ****Joining any WTPCC function is an acknowledgement that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the WTP Code of Conduct.

ALL WTPCC MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO OBEY THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES: 

Refrain from any form of disrespect or perceived disrespect. This includes potentially
offensive signs, clothing, flags, behavior, banners, or images. Our goal is to unify our
fellow citizens to join our cause. Not to alienate or defeat them.

NO profanity, vulgarity, shouting or talking poorly about any member or someone in the community. Spreading rumors of any kind is also intolerable as it would damage our reputation and the public’s trust.

We are working together on one of the most important causes any of us may ever undertake we need to remain approachable and provide a safe environment. We welcome differences of opinions and will expect everyone to encourage open dialogue while being respectful. Our goal is to foster both inclusion and unity. Every person added that supports our cause multiplies the power we need to make a difference. 

Weapons are discouraged at our events. We are a non-violent organization. Our facts, intelligence and unified passion will speak for itself.

Additionally, we ask that you only reference “We The People” for causes that have been identified as part of our agenda. Personal agendas, although worthy, would dilute our national message. Anyone who displays an alternate agenda will be asked to leave the group, the premises, and the event. We need to speak with one voice.
